I did this mapping a while back before the forum was created. I think the right place for this info is here:
Hardware Map 3D View <-- click
This MAP will show where to pre-load the various types of T-Nuts and L-Nuts when building your frame
Purple = M3 X 3030profile T-Nut (Hard to find)
Qty XY: 16 based on X&Y Print size at 315. Add Qty2 for every additional 5cm(50mm) of Y axis over 315mm.
Qty ZR_V2 : 24 based on Z Print size of 340. Add Qty3 for every additional 5cm(50mm) of Z axis over 340mm.
Green = M6 X 3030profile T-Nut.
Advice: You should get some that are drop in or roll in. This helps a lot when some were forgotten to be inserted before putting frame parts together.
Qty Frame = 104
Qty XY & XYHT = 27
Qty ZR_V2 = 15
Blue = M5 X 3030profile T-Nut
Advice: You should get some that are drop in or roll in. This helps a lot when some were forgotten to be inserted before putting frame parts together.
Qty XY & XYHT = 6
Qty ZR = 6
Yellow = L-Nut for 3030profile
Advice: You should get the model that has one longer side than the other. this will facilitate clearance into tight spot around Y axis rails:
Qty Frame = 26
Frame Assembly - Pre Insert the right t-nuts to the right spot
Re: Frame Assembly - Pre Insert the right t-nuts to the right spot
Hello, in the HT - XY BOM, do not mention the M3x3030 nuts. Now another month to arrive from China

Re: Frame Assembly - Pre Insert the right t-nuts to the right spot
I am sad to see that this caused delay in your build. I genuinely thought I corrected that omission some time ago.... twice actually...
Once again I am deeply sorry for that mistake. I do have a good qty on hand. Perhaps I could sell you some. Maybe shipping time could be better from Canada to Bresil than from China....

Re: Frame Assembly - Pre Insert the right t-nuts to the right spot
All Bom files have been corrected. One additional line has been added for M3 T-Nuts for 3030 profiles for the Y axis of STD and HT versions.

Re: Frame Assembly - Pre Insert the right t-nuts to the right spot
Hi,
[EDIT]
OK, I've been poking around and see another had the same problem I did. It looks like I will just need to grind 1 bracket down. Omit one (but there is a corner bracket right underneath, so that's OK) and the others fit. So I think I'm good
Is this correct?
[END EDIT]
I'm really stuck here. My inside L brackets won't fit in 2 places.
First in the place I mentioned in my earlier post: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=433
I managed to work around it putting a bracket underneath.
But I'm having problems with the front right corner of the Y Axis. It seems like you really need to have the inside corner, but it's too tall and interferes with the 3030 T Slot nut. And in checking the CAD drawing, it does show it interfering.
I'm sure there's a work around, but it's not obvious to me. It doesn't seem practical to put underneath, as the Z Axis 3030 would need to come out.
See attached pictures from CAD
Help?
Thanks.
Michael

Re: Frame Assembly - Pre Insert the right t-nuts to the right spot
Sympa le guide mais sur le plan de montage jpg il manque 2 Tnut 6 30 de chaque côté pour les supports moteur zr.
Cool this guide but you miss 2 T nut on each side for the zr motor mount

Re: Frame Assembly - Pre Insert the right t-nuts to the right spot
Hi Guys, I need some advice. How many T-nuts you would recommend to use for tightening the Guide Rails XY?
