Hemera HD9 XY-Carriage, Mount

Post by Kolibri »

Hello together,

i modified the Hemera XY-Carriage, so it can be used with the HD9 build (the 9mm belt version).
Originally, the mount was designed for 6mm belts.

STL's are accesable on thingiverse:

Can you make this carrier also for HD12? Unfortunately, I'm not that good at Fusion yet. I can modify some things myself, but unfortunately I'm out of the belts and repositioning screws

Thank you for sharing. When I want to use the HD9 Gantry, than there is no need of the Belt tensioners at the Hemera body mount, right?

What makes you think that? Tensioners are there, and for a good reason :D

The HD9 gantry has a tensioner within the motor mount. That makes me think that the tensioners at the Extruder Mount is double...

No they are still necessary. I've found out that the motor mount tenseniors are just not strong enough, though they are easy accessible.

My view on this is something like, the head tensioners are there for "big changes"/initial setup, the ones on the motors for fine tuning :D

Hello,
we are building the HD9 version of the hevort.
By the way great project! Thank you very much for all the documentation. We are looking forward to finish our three printers 😊
We are planning to setup the initial version with the Hemera. Thank you Kolibri for providing the HD9 version.
Currently we are facing the issue that the carriage (BeltclampFr) is touching the HD_YCarriage_RH_LowerBody. Thew screw head seems to be to big.
Is that a known issue? Do we have to print a different HD_YCarriage_RH_LowerBody version?
Thank you!
