I am new to 3D printer community. I spend my spare time last week researching 3D printers and find CoreXY 3D printers are, in my opinion, the best plotform for FDM 3D printing. It is super fast, rigid, comes with automatic bed leveling, tool changer, everything I want for less than $2000. On top of that, I see there is potential for 6 axis 3D printing on HevORT build. These make HevORT so much superior than other regular non-corexy printers. I see the only worthy competitors are RatRig, maybe Voron, but I think they are still not very popular comparing to prusa or maybe Makergear M2 back in 2016.
I don't understand, for most of these existing businesses making 3D printers, how is it OK for them still building other kind of "not as good" printers and still in business? For any DIYer, we can probably build our own HevORT within 2-3 months of our spare time. Why couldn't the professionals keep up and build better printers at work?

Have you built a HevORT? It isn't cheap. You can easily buy a Bambu X1c for less than half the price. Bump up your HevORT to servo motors and you can change that to a third of the cost. And for that cost you get 95% of all the features of the HevORT plus Lidar and bed touch calibration. Can the HevORT move faster? Certainly, especially with servo motors and a carbon fiber X-axis. But the rate at which you can melt plastic is the limiting print speed factor anyways. So, why build a HevORT? Well, some people, myself included, love projects, to design things, and improve them (I'm thinking of switching out the linear motion kinematics on the bed for much more simpler 3-bearing on parallel rails. And I want to add load cells to the bed support.) You can build it to whatever size you desire. Want a 2000x2000x2000 build volume... sure. go ahead. Precision. The WobbleX design coupled with linear rails on everything provides a much greater precision on the axes. I would also say the HevORT can be built with greater sturdiness.
