Where do you source the Al profiles? I am planing to build similar sizes. How much is your total cost all the profles?

I got all my profiles from Dold Mechatronik, they came to about £160 delivered iirc. All cut to length.

Currently the build is in limbo.. I am designing a print head for my Titan Aqua/BMG Frankenstein, looking at ordering enclosure panels, but.. I can't decided whether to go Duet 3/Pi or SKR Pro 1.2 and Klipper. Hearing more and more noise about the SKR/Klipper (+Pi?) combination. Hardware wise the Duet has it licked even with TMC5160 drivers spec'd on the SKR, but.. Is the Duet hardware way overkill? So in reality no difference..?

Have you considered the BTT GTR v1.0? It's what I'm considering for a few reasons:

• Can run RepRapFirmware or Marlin (I'm leaning towards RRF)

• Replaceable Stepper Drivers (I'm looking at the TMC5160)

• Expandable to 11 steppers total (For tool changing)

Wifi/Ethernet isn't that important to me as I will be pairing it with a dedicated Raspberry Pi. So while the Duet 2/3 is really nice, I think the GTR gets me where I want to be more economically and future proof.

I hadn't really looked at the GTR no.. I was leaning towards a Fysetc S6.. However, I will give it a look!

Whilst ummming and ahhhing over control board choice, I ordered enclosure material and quickly knocked up some panel clamps. I also started trying to think about wiring and component positioning.

ADXL345 for some resonance tuning

Just need to order;
Fans - for board cooling and fume extraction
HEPA/Carbon filter
Reflective material for inside the build chamber, although only 2 faces. It's not a high temp build. Yet. Unless I take a fancy to PEEK or similar.
Couple of USB to USB C leads.

Lead time now until it all arrives. Need to finish designing my printhead in the mean time, plus other odd and sods. Hinges etc.

I just switched from OctoPrint to MainSail (there is an all inclu firmware called MainSailOS which should be as easy to setup as OctoPi) for testing purposes. OctoPrint is quite powerful but heavy as well. I am exited to check how MainSail performs
