No Blind Joint Screws on Frame BOM?
No Blind Joint Screws on Frame BOM?
The Frame Hardware Map (https://a360.co/3dCjsfY) shows blind joints, but the Frame BOM (https://miragec79.github.io/HevORT/bom/ ... lecExt.htm) does not include any M8 screws. I'm thinking they got missed? Or, is there a different way to make blind joints other than tapping the ends?

Hmm...is V4 the latest version of the Frame Hardware Mapping? If I explode the design, I see 28 Blind Joint Taps like these:

They are suggested blind screw locations iirc (can't remember where I read it on here somewhere). You would need to drill the perpendicular extrusions to fit an M8 bolt to pull it all together. They aren't a requirement.
This would however significantly increase the stiffness of the frame, especially in the locations where only the L joints are used. bit of a faff though.

Re: No Blind Joint Screws on Frame BOM?
I came across this old thread and noticed your question about the missing M8 screws in the Frame BOM. It's possible they got overlooked, but there might also be alternative methods for creating blind joints that don't involve tapping the ends. While I can't provide a definitive answer, I can suggest checking out one website I recently discovered. They offer a wide range of screws and fasteners that could be useful for your project. You can find them at https://www.scrooz.com.au/ I'm new to this forum and excited to join the community. Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or need further assistance.
