Re: Bed won't stay leveled

Hi, it's a matter of weight. I bumped up my hold current on the Z steppers. I also turn on the Z hold GCode command immediately when the Duet boots. Also, some slicers instruct all of the steppers to turn off when done with a print (no longer holding). So I removed that command in my GCode. Or shoul...

My Money Pit Build is working

(Just a cross post from Facebook) OK, here comes my wall of text. Success!!!! After 7 months, it’s working, and not only that it’s working, it’s working great. OK, I had a move thrown in in the middle of the process, and did stall a bit (mostly terrified it wouldn’t work, so just procrastinated). I ...

Re: Recommended Material for Enclosure

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up getting sheets of Polycarb. I'm happy with how it looks. If I start printing some high temp stuff, I will likely insulate it.

Thanks.

Re: HevACS discussion and develoment

Hi There. now that my AWESOME HeVORT is printing, I'm getting ready to print these. However, I have a question. I'm primarily printing PLA and PetG. And I have a cover on the base of my printer. I was thinking about cutting 2 12mm fan holes so rather than recirculating the air, that I would be bring...

Re: IGUS Sampler box

I really like the quality of the flanges, and how they position compared to the rod-ends. I just haven't gotten round to making the changes to the CAD files to allow me to make the swap. I will still stick with the wobble wings. I'm about a week away from starting to print on my HeVORT, and will pro...

Berd Air Nozzle file for Hemera V6 for FDM

Hi, I don't have access to a cool SLA printer to print the nifty tube version. and the version that IceBob printed for me didn't fit for me. So I went ahead and did my first CAD project using tubes, wooo. Anyhow, I think it turned out well. I need to update my Berd Air drilling guide to cut the tube...

Berd Air Pump Anti-Vibration Mount

Well, I got my Berd Air pump, and of course, I couldn't possibly have used any of the zillions of brackets, and had to come up with one of my own. I think it turned out OK. Red Mounting Bracket, and the blue is ninjaflex. We'll see how well it works, as I will be putting it in this weekend. I just p...

Re: Thermostat and Thermal Fuse

I've now started work on the same, and found these listed on a site, which I thought would be great, as they have a mounting screw. http://www.alpha-therm.de/datenblaetter/Thermosicherungen/SK_Series_Thermal_Link.pdf But I couldn't find them anywhere in the US, and if you get them from Alpha Therm, ...
